Horsetail herb

Medicinal tea

Method of use: Tea for drinking and for rinsing or gargling after preparing a tea infusion.

 

Application areas:

Internal use: For existing or post-injury edema; for flushing the urinary tract and for kidney disease.

External use: For supportive treatment of poorly healing wounds.

If there is water retention (edema) as a result of restricted heart or kidney activity, flushing therapy is not indicated.

 

Contraindications: None known.

Note: Store protected from light and moisture! Store drug out of reach of children! Do not use after the expiry date.

Dosage instructions and method of use: Unless otherwise prescribed, a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows is drunk 3 times a day: 2 teaspoons full (approx. 2 g) of horsetail herb are poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and after about 10 If necessary, strain through a tea strainer for up to 15 minutes.

Make sure you drink plenty of additional fluids. To prepare poultices, 10 g horsetail herb is used in 1 l water.

 

Duration of use: In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than a week or recur periodically, consultation with a doctor is recommended.
